Everything you need to know about organizing your YouTube subscriptions with Tag My Web
Getting started is easy! First, create a free account at tagmyweb.com/login. Then connect your YouTube account through Google OAuth. Once connected, click "Sync Subscriptions" to import all your YouTube channels. You can then add custom tags to any channel, filter by tags, and search instantly. Your tags are saved automatically and sync across all your devices.
Yes! Tag My Web is completely free to use. You can organize unlimited YouTube subscriptions, create unlimited tags, and sync as many times as you want at no cost.
Click the "Connect YouTube Account" button on your dashboard. You'll be redirected to Google's secure OAuth login page. After granting permission, return to Tag My Web and click "Sync Subscriptions" to import all your channels. Your tags will be preserved even when you sync new subscriptions.
We only access your YouTube subscription list through Google OAuth. We do NOT access your videos, watch history, playlists, comments, or any other YouTube data. Your privacy is important to us, and we only request the minimum permissions needed to provide our service.
No. Tag My Web only reads your subscription list and does not modify anything on your YouTube account. Your YouTube recommendations, watch history, and all other features remain completely unchanged.
You can create unlimited tags! Organize your subscriptions however makes sense for you - by topic, language, priority, genre, or any custom system.
Yes! Each channel can have multiple tags. For example, you might tag a channel as both "Tech" and "Tutorial" to make it easier to find later.
Absolutely! You can add, edit, rename, or delete tags at any time using the "Manage Tags" feature. When you rename a tag, it updates across all channels that use it. If you delete a tag, it's removed from all channels.
Use the tag filter dropdown at the top of your dashboard. You can select one or multiple tags. When multiple tags are selected, you can choose to show channels with ALL selected tags or ANY of the selected tags.
Yes! Use the search bar on your dashboard to instantly find channels by name. The search updates in real-time as you type, making it quick to find any channel among hundreds of subscriptions.
Bulk operations let you add or remove tags from multiple channels at once. Enable selection mode, select the channels you want, then choose "Add Tags" or "Remove Tags" from the toolbar. This saves time when organizing large numbers of channels.
Yes! You can sort by channel name (A-Z or Z-A), subscriber count (high to low or low to high), or subscription date (newest or oldest first). You can also sort to show your favorited channels first.
Yes! We use industry-standard security practices. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. OAuth tokens are stored securely and only used to access your subscription list. Read our full Privacy Policy at tagmyweb.com/privacy for details.
No. We never sell or share your data with third parties. Your subscription list and tags remain private to your account.
Click the "Disconnect" button on your dashboard. This will remove the connection to YouTube, but your tags and organization will remain saved. You can reconnect at any time.
If you delete your account, all your data (tags, subscriptions, and settings) will be permanently deleted within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
First, try disconnecting and reconnecting your YouTube account. If that doesn't work, check that you granted all necessary permissions during the OAuth flow. Still having issues? Contact us at support@tagmyweb.com and we'll help resolve the problem.
Make sure you've synced your subscriptions recently by clicking "Sync Subscriptions". If you recently subscribed to a channel on YouTube, you'll need to sync again to see it in Tag My Web. Also check that you don't have filters or search terms active that might be hiding the channel.
